he's really bad at sitting-with-books learning. so, lots of talking! and pacing. and sort of stopping in the middle of very long rants to blink at her in sort of apologetic horror.

Sam actually probably finds that helpful? she probably joined in on the dialogue, and she definitely brought snacks even if bash objected.

When she tries she is good at book-learning, but I think the all the... extra that bash is will get her to not be so BORED by learning.
PLUS she's all about PRACTICAL LEARNING so like they should PRACTICAL STUDY?!??
