just ... so you know, bash studies by reciting things out loud. usually complete with ridiculous dialogues he holds with himself. and LOTS of hand-gestures. and he was probably very nervous about this. sorry, sam.
he's really bad at sitting-with-books learning. so, lots of talking! and pacing. and sort of stopping in the middle of very long rants to blink at her in sort of apologetic horror.

Sam actually probably finds that helpful? she probably joined in on the dialogue, and she definitely brought snacks even if bash objected.
